Space Availability - CreateSpace

3D printers

CreateSpace has two 3D printers (Ultimaker S3 and Ultimaker 2+ Connect) which are available to anyone who wants to experiment with 3D printing. Either bring in your own STL, OBJ, or Thing file on a USB, or browse the Thingiverse 3D Design community to find a design you would like to print. Our friendly PLAs will be on site to assist you. This is a free service, however we ask that you share your creations with the CreateSpace community on our Facebook page.

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

3D scanner

The EinScan-SP desktop 3D scanner in CreateSpace is available to anyone who wants to experiment with 3D scanning. 3D Scanners generate high-resolution 3D data from virtually any object in any environment. It improves data accuracy and simplifies the processes involved in applications such as reverse engineering, CAD, 3D scanning, modelling, inspection and analysis. This technology delivers innovative solutions and advantages to a variety of industries. 3D scanners can be used to create digital models of existing models and provides for the customisation of such designs.

  • Minimum Scan Volume: 30 x 30 x 30mm
  • Maximum Scan Volume: 1200 x 1200 x 1200mm
