Sewing is a sustainable, efficient method to express your creativity, whether you are looking to make or mend your own clothes, avoid fast fashion, or customise textiles to the way you want.

The Library Technology Spaces have free sewing and textile technology equipment available to be used at request. In this workshop you'll learn on:

Where to sew on campus
Why bother learning to sew?
Set up of machine
Machine Sewing
Learn how to make a heart pin cushion

 

This workshop will be held in ThinkSpace, Jane Foss Russel Building Level 2 (above SciTech Library)
