Intro to laser cutting (In Person) In-Person
Explore your creativity and innovation through laser cut designs. Come and learn about our desktop laser cutter, and how you can start making your own creations.
In this workshop, you will learn about:
- How to safely operate the Emblaser 2 laser cutter and the fume extractor
- Some of the common materials that can be safely used for the laser cutter, and where to access them
- The process of how laser cutters function
- Discover the process of converting images to vectors
- Delve into applicable fields where laser cutting excels as a tool for creating, making, or prototyping
- Learn about making more complex patterns and designs
Whether you're a novice or an experienced creator, this event is your gateway to a world where ideas come to life. Join us for a thoughtful exploration of technology and creativity, and see how the Emblaser 2 can elevate your design, art, and academic pursuits.
