Weaving Workshops with Koori Kinnections In-Person
Come along to Fisher Library, sit, chat and learn weaving techniques from the amazing Indigenous Educators at Koori Kinnections in the Library's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Space. It is the perfect hands-on activity to learn about First Nations culture and to reflect on your journey here at the University. Weaving is an important cultural practice across many Indigenous communities in Australia, by following traditional protocols you will in this session weave a bracelet or rope. Everyone is welcome!
