Intro to hand-sewing (in person) In-Person
Sewing is a sustainable, efficient method to express your creativity, whether you are looking to make or mend your own clothes, to avoid fast fashion, or customise textiles to the way you want.
The Library Technology Spaces have free sewing and textile technology equipment available to be used at request. In this workshop you'll learn on:
•Where to sew on campus
•Why bother learning to sew?
•Materials required
•Hand sewing
•How to thread the needle, tie a knot and end sewing
•4 types of hand sewing
This workshop can be attended in person at CreateSpace, Susan Wakil Health Building.
