Getting started with a literature review – online workshop Online
Do you need to write a literature review, but don't know where to start? Perhaps you’re not sure which review type best suits your purposes: systematic, scoping, narrative, or something else? During this workshop we will examine your research question, explore different types of reviews, and learn about the systematic review methodology.
While the principles covered in this workshop are transferable, we will draw on examples from medicine and health. This session has been designed for HDR students and above.
You will:
• Practice focusing a research question
• Discuss the differences between major and searchable concepts
• Get feedback on your research question
• Learn about tools and resources for your review, including EndNote
• Learn where to get further help
You will need a computer with a reliable internet connection and a quiet space for this session. You will receive a link to the Zoom meeting in the calendar invitation for the session.
