International Day of Peace In-Person
To celebrate the International Day of Peace, in commemoration of the “Right to Peace – The Universal Declaration of Human Rights” document signed in Paris 1948, we invite students within the Postgraduate Coursework community to bring along a plate of food from their culture, and connect inter-culturally through a Feast for Peace. The aim is to provide students with a chance to find a sense of belonging in a safe space, on a day of international significance which prioritises empathy and peace. The event will start with a minute of silence, participating in the “Peace Wave” initiated by the NGO Pathways to Peace, and will continue with some social activities.
