Panel members are industry experts in engineering & IT specialising in areas such as software, systems, blockchain, Design Thinking, mobile-app and product development (see below for panellist biographies).
Audience will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions about career advice, networking and keeping up with industry changes.

Extensive knowledge and experience in mobile native development across iOS and Android.
Varuni Fernando is a Systems Engineer at ResMed, Chair of Sydney Women in Engineering | Motivated systems engineer with a passion for creating solutions which enable better healthcare outcomes. I enjoy adapting to new situations and having to learn quickly. As Chair of WIE Sydney, I am a strong advocate for increasing female participation in the engineering industry and educating young people about careers in STEM.
Wen Karina Li is a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead at Westpac | Strategic technologist | Design Thinker | Problem Solver | Inclusion Advocate
Almog Koren is a well-experienced Senior Software Engineer, at Premonition a Sydney based startup and founder of Almog R&D Ltd and has completed 300 plus projects, 60,000 lines of codes, and over a dozen technologies. With work experience as a chief technical officer, lead developer, and product manager.
James Zaki is a cofounder of a blockchain-based games company but has worked extensively in mobile-app and product development. Prior to transitioning to apps, James worked on embedded systems for industrial automation.
