Whether you are planning a career in Academia or not, be prepared to demonstrate the impact of your research; not just on your discipline but on the wider community. You show the impact of your research  in every job application, research grant submission or request for promotion you make. This session includes how to find:

  • Your citation count – who is citing you in scholarly publications
  • How often your work (if online) is being viewed/downloaded
  • Alternative ways of establishing your impact with Altmetrics
