What you need to know about Research Data Management @ SYDNEY Online

Are you aware of your responsibilities to manage your research data effectively? Come along to learn all about research tools and platforms, services, workshops, online resources, help and support available at the University of Sydney. In the session, you will learn good practices for organising, describing, archiving and publishing research data from a Research Data consultant and a Digital Collections Librarian. This also gives you a wonderful opportunity to ask your burning questions.

Objectives:

  • Understand research data and the importance of research data management (RDM)
  • Be aware of Australian and University RDM policies and requirements and understand your responsibilities in doing research
  • Know tools, platforms and services available
  • Know good practices about managing your research data
  • Gain knowledge of the resources and help available to support RDM activities

Open to: Academic and Professional Staff, research students, and affiliates of The University of Sydney (with a valid UniKey). If you do not have a UniKey, please contact us to confirm your position after registration.
