Space Availability - ThinkSpace

The Ultimaker 2+ Connect in ThinkSpace is available to anyone who wants to experiment with 3D printing. Either bring in your own STL, OBJ, or Thing file on a USB, or browse the Thingiverse 3D Design community to find a design you would like to print. The build volume of the printer is 223 x 220 x 205 mm. Our friendly PLAs will be on site to assist you.

This is a free service, bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

 

Nomad CNC router in ThinkSpace is available to anyone who wants to experiment with carving. Nomad is a new, easy to use, tabletop carving machine for turning ideas into real objects.

You can use Carbide Create to create your unique design. Material dimensions should be less than W200mm x L200mm x H70mm, and carved dimensions less than 20mm deep. Suitable materials for Nomad carving machine include: wood (hardwood, softwood, bamboo and MDF) and plastic (ABS, Cast Acrylic, Corian, HDPE, PVC). If you are unsure about the material, please ask one of our friendly PLAs, they will be on site to assist you from 10am-5pm weekdays.

This is a free service, however you'll need to bring your own materials to carve.
