Getting ready for data analysis: quantitative data In-Person
Do you work with quantitative tabular data such as counts, measurements, or other numerical values? Come along to this session to find out how to structure and format your data tables using spreadsheets, how to organise your data files into a folder structure for analysis, and how to document your data so that it can be understood and reused.
Objectives:
- Understand how to structure and format your quantitative data
- Understand how to organise your quantitative data files within a folder structure
- Understand how to document your quantitative data
- Ensure your quantitative data is optimised for re-use and replication
Format: Presentation
Target audience: Researchers and HDR students who are or will be working with quantitative data using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or analysis software such as MATLAB, R, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
