FASS HDR Students - Creating your professional Profile

FASS HDR Students - Creating your professional Profile

ONLY for Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and Sydney Law School Higher Degree by Research Students.

Why do you need a profile? An online profile is the ideal way to showcase your work, raise your professional standing, and encourage collaboration. What academic profiles are available and which should you invest in?

This session will look at some of the professional profiles available and focus on an ORCID profile. ORCID is becoming an essential tool for all academic researchers and this session will walk you through creating an ORCiD profile. We will then look at how to populate your new profile with basic information, Learn about the different privacy settings available, and discover the multiple tools available to enhance your ORCID record with your publications and other contributions
