ONLY for Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (incl Education & Social Work) Higher Degree by Research Students
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a nonproprietary and unique identifier that is becoming an essential tool for all academic researchers. ORCID’s vision is a world where all who participate in research, scholarship, and innovation are uniquely identified and connected to their contributions across disciplines, borders, and time.
This hands on session will introduce you to the benefits of ORCiD for researchers and walk you through creating an ORCiD profile. We will then look at how to populate your new profile with basic information, Learn about the different privacy settings available, and discover the multiple tools available to enhance your ORCID record with your publications and other contributions
